Love the smell.
Old, deep memories of my Father teaching me respect and responsibility for firearms when I was 9 or 10 years old. He cleaned the bolt action .22 we'd gone shooting with to show me and then had me do it while he watched. He made everything about firearms care and handling serious. After that first time I was in charge of cleaning guns. He had me bring him the clean guns now and then so he could check my work. Smells are famous for triggering old memories. I love Hoppes #9.
