Hyde Park is pretty good.

Look for Blue colors and Rolling 60s

Then set up and blast

On a serious note- how far are you willing to drive and what are you going to shoot?

Lots of public land around Palmdale/ Edwards AFB

The BLM has changed rules on what types of ammo can be fired on public land...

Use search. No magnetic ammo on BLM. No glass targets. Stay out of Riverside county and Angeles NF.

I am amazed how many CGNers don't realize it is illegal to shoot magnetic projectiles on BLM or just flaunt the law.

I am curious if anyone has been out to Fargo or Berdoo and noticed any signs stating that either areas is closed due to the fire issues. No red flag warnings right now, but . . . curious if there were any postings. I am aware this is probably not Western Riverside, but has anyone conclusively confirmed from LE or BLM that shooting is permitted here during Stage III fire restrictions? As someone accurately noted in another thread - the penalties are not light. Any thoughts would be most appreciated. Thanks!

No shooting in LA County. Imperial County is open all year long. Many use steel there as sand and rocks don't catch fire.
