Yah...I like that...but what i don't like is the 1500 dollar price dat. Im looking into the liberty and the Cannon h4 right now. Not 800 lbs, but im sure 4 bolts into the groud will sure make it seem like 800 lbs.

I've read through most of these posts and was wondering if anyone could recommend a good handgun safe. Now I'm looking for a real safe, more than 100lbs, that can hold about 6-8 handguns and ammo. I've tried to look thru the websites of fort knox and liberty but it seems that most of their safes are these huge closet safes that fit rifles. Do any of these good safe companies make a smaller safe?

This safe is from Mesa Safe company. I read these two FAQ off of their website.
http://www.mesasafe.com/faq.html

Q: How do I open my new safe?

A: Instructions on opening your safe for the first time can be found inside your safe. If they are not found, please call: 800-490-5624

Q: I forgot my combination, can MESA Safe Co. retrieve it?
A: Unfortunately, MESA Safe is not responsible for any lost or forgotten combinations due to security issues. We recommend you call your local locksmith or safe technician to have the safe opened for you. If the technician has any questions regarding the safe, we suggest that they call: 800-490-5624

So.......I think I'm going to overlook this one.

Saw this, but it might not be as beefy or large as you're seeking:

Hey Greg,

I stumbled across this thread not too long ago, and it showed one really cool looking handgun safe.

Of course, its not my safe... but I liked the size of it, and figured it'd suite your needs quite nicely.

I found it over at the SIGforum. You can find more information on it in this thread:

Hope this helps. Good luck.

Yah, its not exactly what im looking for. I thought I liked that one but this one falls, to me, into the "lockbox" category rather than being a real safe. Thanks
