Talking FINALLY!

I finally have my WASR-10 here in San Diego! She's all set-up and ready to go. My WASR-10 had been sitting in my Stepdad's closet in Detroit since 2005.

What red dot is that?

Is your serial number seriously 666?

The Red/Greed Dot is a UTG SCP-RD40RGW-A.
reddot.jpg

My Serial number is not 666, I photoshopped out the other numbers in my serial number before I posted the pics.

I haven't zeroed in my red/green dot yet. I just got the mount the other day, so I'll be zeroing it in either tomorrow or Sunday. I'll post my results. Hopefully it won't fail me. It only cost $40, so hopefully this time I'll get more than what I paid for.

I knew what I was opening when I opened the gift from my wife today. It still was super exciting. Add 21 days to the already long 10 day wait and that was how my Christmas was. Oh well.....it was well worth the wait.

My challenge to the wifey was.....HOW ARE YOU GOING TO EVER TOP THIS? LOL.

Finally got the 74 muzzle break for my Saiga AK74. All I need now is a Tula bakelite pistol grip to finish my build. What a difference from a sporter to how it looks now.

Too expensive to put on my $300 WASR-10. Not that I have ever had any issues with my WASR. She shoots straight and hasn't failed me yet. But my Tapco furniture seems to do the job well enough. I still haven't sighted in my red/green dot sight, so I still don't know how well the side mount for that thing will work. I'm hoping to get more than what I paid for. It's just a cheap-o UTG red/green dot on a UTG Pro U978S Model 47 Quick-Release Double-Rail Side Mount. http://www.opticsplanet.com/leapers-...ide-mount.html I took the side rail off of the mount.

Someday I'll get another AK and put the Ultimak stuff on 'er. That is, if they're still legal at that point.
