Looks like you really like those Handall grips on the Keltecs. I should put one on my P3AT - take a little of the sting out!

Here are three pics of my Sigs P225 and P220. 9mm and .45 acp respectively. I just love how they feel and handle. Oh and I am a lefty and they still feel great!

I've got a USP40 and the UPS Quick Comp (don't think they even sell those anymore) and it fouled the end of my slide up a bit. Mostly just a change in the finish due to flaming hot gases and lead and such accumulating on the front of the slide caused by the quick comp creating higher pressure just in front of the muzzle.

It looks like a counterweight off a USP match.

I wonder why they didn't move the front sight to the front of the counterweight for more radius?

Maybe because if you took the counterweight off you'd be w/o a front sight? The quick comp mounts to the USP proprietary rail (sad thing that rail, then again M1913 rails weren't popular on handguns back in 93~95 or thereabouts).

Here's my USP, Circa 1996...photo taken recently for a buddy who wanted to see it with the comp on.

Klunky thing that HK comp, however I must say it does work.

Regards,

James R.

My Colt Model 1911 US NAVY. Serial dates it to 1913 and the 1025th Colt 1911 ever marked with US NAVY on the slide. I don't know the history of it prior to my grandfather being issued the pistol for World War 2 unfortunately. It was recently given to me by my father and even though he has had it for some 30 or so years, never fired it. It surprised me because we're both avid shooters.

Recently I took it down to SharpShooters and had my buddy Ryan go through it and make sure everything was ok and I fired off 50 rounds. It was a great feeling to fire my grandfathers sidearm from the second world war which from what my father told me had not been shot in some 50 or so years.

Not bad for an 89 year old gun..

When I got it, it was in pretty bad shape with an awful cold blue finish and general butchery. Over the years, many parts were replaced- eventually, I had a Para ramped barrel installed, slide/frame tightened, hard chroming done, slide done in black, and now it's a tight sweet shooter!

I fitted the Ed Brown beavertail myself (what a pain!), and did the trigger work on Wilson parts (about 3lbs). It's a 1911 pre-A1 frame and slide!

With the new barrel fitted, its truly a tack driver at the range- there is zero play or movement in the slide/barrel/frame group.

-Dave

What kind of finish is on the slide and who did the work and checkering on the gun? Looks great. Got any before pics? O and who makes the stocks?

Here's my only Colt.

A few of my Nighthawk Custom's and a Cylinder & Slide Adventurer - just a taste of my 1911 collection. And for you knife guys, a Benchmade Stryker. If you're looking for a deal on a Nighthawk, lets talk... I have a few.
