Default Where to find Marlin XT 22 VR

I looked at all the local places. No one seems to carry the Marlin XT 22 VR.
I live in the Rancho Cucamonga / Fontana area. Anyone know where I can pick one up ?

What is VR? I see a VSR but not a VR.

VR is the heavy barrel no sights. VR probably stands for Varmint if I had to guess.
Its pretty much the updated version of the 880SQ.
It's the model I want to get some day too.

Not likely to find one in a shop, going to need to go into a shop and have them order it for you.

OP, I am not asking you to settle for something that you are not looking for. But in case you are interested to know, Gun World in Burbank has a Marlin XT in stock.

Good luck!

Bass Pro in Rancho has several XT-22s, but I believe they all have the standard barrel. They had both WMR and 22LR versions, as well as wood and synthetic stock versions.

Very nice rifles, and at $199.00 the best deal for a bolt action .22 in my opinion.

I got my VR a few months back at Sportmans Warehouse. Happy hunting!

Bass Pro had it when I bought my standrard XT22. I chose it over the VR bacause it was significantly heavier.

I checked out Galleryofguns for you, and they have 3 different models in stock, but not the VR unfortunately. I think the RZ is the closest one they have to what you are looking for.

Update.
Now my son thinks the lever action rifles are "cooler" so we are looking at the Henry Golden Boy
