If you folks are doing rental cars, a bunch of Rental Car Places are doing cyber monday deals. Payless, for example, is doing 15 percent off cost with no restrictions on time. Just have to reserve it today.

Payless' Coupon is CYBER26.

Keep in mind parking considerations, however for those of us who are doing an extended weekend in SF Bay area, like myself, a rental car could be ideal if you want independence from the transit system.

or it could be a huge burden when trying to "abandon" er I mean park it.
Lots of rental car companies close to the DNT hotels to rent for day trips... sometimes cheaper to rent for a day than to park for a night...

That's if you're staying in town. Considering I'm staying with friends in the east bay, that's a might difficult.

In like Flynn!

FYI, if any out of towners want a ride, or locals want to carpool, I'm heading up from Sunnyvale straight after work @ 6am. I can't stay super late though, i gotta get some sleep in the afternoon before my night shift.

BART to Civic Center - that's how I'm going.

8:24 Pittsburg/Bay Point train gets you there 8:51, costs $8.25 (one way - airport trip is more expensive)

http://www.bart.gov/schedules/quickp...time=8%3A30+AM

Earlier trains - 7:54, 8:09, others

ETA for some reason, I don't seem to recall seeing at what time the court proceedings begin - would someone please repeat that for me?

Cool

Likewise, but I'm showing up earlier via BART so I could get a good seat in the Courtroom.

Anyone driving from the Fremont/Newark/Union City area?

Erik.

And still I'm fascinated by the weird things they get programmed to do.

Yeah, I was wondering about that. So, are we being shipped a physical ticket? For some reason, I wasn't expecting to have a paper ticket mailed to me.

It is. Let's keep this thread about the CGF lunch please so that Josh doesn't have to do more work keeping track and organizing the event.

I've got at least two maybe three of my bros going to the arguments. Will they be able to pay at the door? They are not sure about lunch yet. Honestly 2 of them could care less about the Second Amendment one way or another. Is the whole place reserved or is there going to be room at the bar to hang out. I really want to meet Alan Gura so I am going for sure but I'd rather not have them put up 50 bucks if their is going to be room at the bar for them to grab a drink or whatever.

Yes. You can pay at the door.

The lunch and the company will be well worth the $50. And a portion goes to make sure that your buddies who don't care about the Second Aendent still het to enjoy its fruits.

I once sent $100 fr a charity event at the Playboy Mansion. I don't remember the charity. I do remember meeting Hef. Made t all worth it.

Default Final Call for Tickets!

Hey folks - we're getting down to the deadlines, here. If you've made a reservation but haven't purchased tickets, yet, please do. I'm compiling the final list and need to give a head-count to the restaurant.

I'll reach out to the folks who've posted in this thread but haven't confirmed buying a ticket. Please expect a PM.

Looking forward to seeing you all on Thursday.

Thanks -

I'm getting my dress shirt laundered and my new suit pressed so I'm almost ready to go.

I'm still working out how to get there. It's complicated because I'm going to link it together with an AK build party so I can't do the park and ride thing for a three day trip and it's hard to ask for a ride to the station at 6:00am...

If anyone from the south bay can give me a ride to a caltrain station or further, send me a pm.

I'll take care of the return trip.
