Default My SOCOM 16

Here is my SOCOM 16. The stock has been refinished in Olive Drab. Accessories include an AimPoint M2 with ARMS mount, BlackHawk cheek rest, sling, and front accessory rail.

Here are mine

SA M1A Loaded that I bought back in 1999. It sports a Nikon Monarch 4-12 scope in ARMS QD rings on top of a ARMS #18 mount.

SA M1A Scout Squard that I bought in 2005. It sports a Aimpoint ML2 on a ARMS QD mount.

Both are great shooters!

The JAE and the SOCOM are a good fit. Increases accuracy, and eliminates that HUGE lower rail from the Socom which is hard to hold off hand.

It's SAGE international's stock that's a scaled down version of their EBR M-14 stick but it has a regular rifle buttstock. Google Sage SCAR stack and see pics.

On an M1-A, if you're looking for increased accuracy and accessory rails, I prefer the JAE. It's more an integrated stock, more "of a piece" than the CA legal EBR. The coolest version of the EBR is the one we can't have here. But it you look at a JAE on a loaded or Socom, you get ALL the rails, the scope mount built INTO the receiver of the gun (with extended cluster rail, etc)
Damn I love it. Putting one on a SOCOM II tomorrow. I mean, took at this, and it actually makes the gun shoot better, too.

So I picked up my receiver today! It's very nice and it was a tight fit into my USGI birch stock. The trigger group was also *very* tight, but that's a good thing. I have one of the new forged oprods from RWB, and it is apparent that its tab will need to be fitted to my receiver. I knew that was going to be the case when I bought it though, so I'm not worried about it. Anyway, I'm almost done collecting my parts. I've got a couple of handguards, a rear sight spring cover, a front sight screw, and an elevation knob on the way from Fulton. All I need to buy is a barrel, a spindle valve assembly, a spring guide, and a gas piston. Oh, and a bolt stop. I can't wait until it's finished!!!

Ok, here's mine but the vase belongs to my wife. Was gonna take it as target but then she slapped me upside the head

Acquired through a trade with a fellow calgunner.
Love the way this rifle shoots. I shot 2 sets of 5 at the paper target 50 yard range:

The first 5 group is with no compensation. I figured this rifle is at lest tuned for 100yards
The last 5 was comp'd
