Default Pacifica crabbing

Have any of you tried throwing hoop nets from the Pacifica pier? I tried it up in Oregon on a dunes trip and had good success. Been wanting to try locally if the fishing’s decent. GoPro pic just because

I haven't crabbed off of Pacifica Pier, I have cought them at Fort Point Pier.

Here's some info on Pacifica Pier, if you want to get into a brawl, go during the salmon run:
