Default WWII handguns

I was bored today and decided to bring out a few of my WWII handguns.


Left:

1941 Japanese Type 14 Nambu
1939 Russian Model 1895 Nagant
British Enfield M2**

Middle:

1942 Colt US M1911A1
1943 Ithaca US M1911A1
1944 Remington-Rand US 1911A1

Right:

1943 S&W "Victory Model"
Mauser byf 44
Walther ac 44

Thanks for preserving such pieces of history. Props. Hadn't seen a Nambu before. Interesting ergonomics and sizing for the Asian hand. Any of these personal take-offs or bring-backs?

The Nambu is an abomination. Although, compared to the Type 94, I suppose it is a beauty queen.

Since I was a kid, i have always dreamed i'd get a real WWII Colt US M1911A1 one day ... but at more than $5k (the ones in very good condition) ... it's not gonna happen anytime soon

Beautiful! Does that byf44 have less filler in the grips than normal? They seem unusually smooth.

I think itís just the lighting. Up close the texture looks similar to the ac44.
