Default Introduction and Request: Sight Tool/Pusher

Hi O.C. Chapter,

I'm new here at Calguns and wanted to introduce myself. I live in Huntington Beach with my wonderful wife. We try to go shooting once a month when we have a free weekend. I recently got back into shooting and am looking forward to learning from all of you here on this site.

One of my more recent purchases (Glock) requires a sight pusher and sight tool to install aftermarket sights. I'm a pretty "hands on" learner and would like to try to do the work myself rather then have a shop or gunsmith do it. After watching a few YouTube videos, I tried to use the vice/plastic punch method and haven't had any success (unless you count a deformed rear sight ). Would anyone local be willing to meet me somewhere with my slide and allow me to use their sight pusher and front sight tool to finish my install? Thanks guys!

Mike

Welcome aboard!
I'm not a Glock guy but I'm sure someone can help you.

Worst case, go attend a GSSF match. Guaranteed someone there has one.

Wish I could help. I was able to drift mine out with a nylon punch in my vise. My sights came with the front sight tool. I may have that tool around still.
