Default Mexican Trejo 2gt -

Got a pair of Mexican Trejo 2gt in .22lr – They are produced in MX – This is the 2nd coming of the company – The original design was a machine pistol – How neat!

The original company was shut down by the MX Government in the 1970 – In 1971 private arms ownership went away – The few arms factory was closed by government decree – Only one military run gun store is licensed in the entire country today -

Imported by Armanentos, Inc. - Classic arms is the current US distributor – I don’t think they are selling well as my consecutive serial numbers are quite low –

A scaled down design similar to the venerable 1911 – 5” barrel - Blowback - She’s all steel – Adjustable rear sight – Field strip is just like a 1911 – Had to pinned the mag to 10 -

They look really rough to me. Maybe just the pics. Good on you if you're happy.

Looks interesting! Range report please. Rating on reliability and accuracy. Long term review including durability.

I'd be so tempted to engrave "Danny" in front of Trejo

Those looks really neat.

Too bad the import mark is so large and conspicuously placed, but still very cool pistolas!

The guns were taken out of plastic wrap and photo -

They feel nice in hand - At 31oz -

The original designer was a blacksmith -

@JT - Time is not my friend - Hoping to put a few rounds thru one is about it -

@Floogy - They do look like the LAR - There are two models of 2gt - The other one has a threaded barrel -

@Saki - You'd do that too!

@Onepony - I've never heard of "Armamentos" out of Florida before this -

A short video of the original Modelo 1 in select fire -

One or more of these pistols usually enters the US strapped to a bail of dope by a short cord of television antenna strap wire.
When did they start putting them in black plastic boxes?
