Default Saiga-12 Bullet Button

Since I am no longer under the regulations for requiring a bullet button on my S-12 I removed it.

I am assuming I need to replace the release with a factory one or am I missing something?

The removed pieces are below. Thanks for any direction on this.

I found a Saiga-12 spring and a pin for the release from Carolina Shooting Supplies. I'm thinking that that's what's missing from using the stock release tab (middle component in picture) I guess I'll find out, if not I'm only out 10.00 so no big deal. But any advice or info is still appreciated.

You were just supposed to remove the cover, not the lever too. And yes, you're missing a spring. I'm not sure how it worked without one.

I thought the same thing when I removed it, it was almost if the bullet button had a small arm that seemed to apply tension. The cover would not have been able to be removed without removing the actual lever, they were all part of where the button was.EDIT: After looking around the spring had fallen into the receiver, luckily I was able to shake it free. I guess I can still use the bolt/nut instead of a pin so I don't have to peen it. All is well. Glad the "missing" spring was mentioned, may have been a bad thing otherwise. Thanks K1!!
