Pala Range
How many of you in here are regulars at this range? I've been going to Rainbow range for a while. While it's a good and friendly range for handguns, it's too small for high-powered rifles. I just happened to read it in here that somebody was recommending it so I decide to check it out today. Came in with my son, but I couldn't locate the office. I saw a lot of people shooting their AR's, and it seemed to be a huge range. Anyway, the membership is 85/yr and the daily rate is 15/adult and 10/jr per day. Well...that's not too bad given the size of that range. Rainbow range charges 170/yr for membership, but there's no daily fee. Given the frequency that I shoot, the fees for both are about the same because I don't shoot very frequently.
So what do you guys think about that range? What's the upside/downside of Pala? I want to find out before go sign up sometimes next week.
