Have you been next to someone shooting a sf brake? It's very concussive. I feel bad when I go to the range and the guy next to me is getting it. It has its purpose.... Maybe not for everyone.

Yes actually, I also have my Ar10 comped for my with to shoot comfortably. I try to get a bench at the end to keep out of people's way. But like the RO said, no one goes to a gun rage for peace and quite. I've been blasted many times while looking down my scope it sucks. But I can always stop being cheap and not go to a public range.

I get it has a purpose and to each there own. Honestly I'm just poking fun while I wait for my coffee to kick in. So ya I'm trolling a little...

Still waiting on this to come out too. Been holding off on the SF brake until its released.

Then again IF that hearing protection act passes id be able to get a SF suppressor and mount to with the SF brake.

But I doubt that will happen.

Still waiting too.
Now I'm also curious if silencers can be taken off of NFA's hands.

The WARDEN has not been canceled by SureFire, the suppressor division is just taking its sweet time producing them, they have taken longer than usual to get regular suppressor orders out as well

Confirmed. It's in stock, they have it.

I called them and emailed them to confirm. It's in stock and ready to ship - ordered.

LOL
I can relate to that so much. And this could well be the case for me.
But anyway, I had already cacelled my order with Arms Unlimited who,
I'll say again, were great.

My guts feeling tell me Arms Unlimited are getting their stock any day now.

Very nice.
However, I don't like their flash hider (mandatory).
Very futuristic design that I don't see fit well with my guns.

Conversely, the SF stuff is a little more classic looking which is a must for me.

With the blast jacket on I must say though, it's great looking.
In my personal case, I do make a case of appearance as well.

PS, this is what they replied to me after I called and wrote:
Quote:
If a product on our website shows as “in-stock” it is indeed in-stock (on the shelves in the box etc.) and ready to ship. We have noticed that many websites may state a product is in stock but is actually put on back order when your order is placed. This creates confusion for customers. We have tried to create a customer friendly website to avoid this confusion. So if a product shows as “in-stock” on our website, it is in-stock and ready to ship. Once processed, your package would then ship USPS Priority Mail or UPS Ground. If “Out of Stock”, please be sure to sign up for our email alerts. See attached.

Thank you for choosing BCM.

Expected delivery is tomorrow which means that I might have to leave work early on Friday to get a range report for this thing

Either you or me; or both.

Planning to get a few more SF brakes as well if it works as intended.
It was exactly what I had been waiting for (i.e., suppressor-like-looking item cool factor plus function).

I say again, my Ferfrans CRD works very well - this supposedly does more of the same.

I hope that it is compatible with the Surefire Legacy Flash Suppressors. I hate open prong (tuning fork) flash suppressors.

That said, I would probably buy some Socom Flash Suppressors/Warcomps if the Warden works out.

Same here - NO open prong.
I got the Socom one on my pistol, planning to put this Warden right there:

The Warcomps are easier to find. I have seen them for sale online and even in some shops.

Arms Unlimited have no fault with this; they are actually damaged by Surefire.
They have been great with me; they did cancel the order (and they only charge before the order ships out).

They were convinced they would get stock first in line, but Surefire also betrayed them on this.

Talk about a future pissed off dealer.

Thanks for the heads up on the Warden. I actually ordered one from BCM already. It arrives today. Its also good to hear that it works with the Legacy FH. I have one on an AR build that I really like and would have to swap it out.

I disagree. A vendor should not put a product on their website for months on end as "in stock" when all they have is vapor.

I'll never order from AU again. BCM on the other hand is GTG

Only thing about using on legacy series, there is no indexing. So it can rotate if not tighten enough, also makes it a 2 hand operation for mounting while socom series can be done with one. Just nice to have a surefire can(ish) tho i wish it was longer

True, no indexing but I also don't plan on trying to take this thing on and off constantly. The more important thing to me is that I don't have to use an open prong tuning fork for a flash hider.

Can't wait! My birthday's coming up, so I'll have to tell my wifey that she can wrap it upon arrival ("Don't let me see the package, but it's from Bravo Company" )
