Ukiah Gun Club is members only.

Go to Ukiah Gun Club . com and contact the membership secretary, they will explain annual membership dues.

You will need a sponsor, a member in good standing, to sponsor your membership. However, the membership secretary will sponsor you ... he/she may have a few questions, if you are open to conversation they will sponsor you.

Great Club ... there is NO on site range master barking orders at you, you are your own range master. There are RULES to live by, and there is a caretaker. And anyone disobeying safety rules is asked to leave and membership revoked, they don't mess around.

There are club shoots on the weekends that usually take up most of the ranges from trap, to pistol, to high power rifle (they have a 400 yard gong)

Weekdays are good to go ... BUT there are Law Enforcement shoots that close either the pistol or rifle range ... sometimes both. So ... Check the calendar before you drive all the way from Sonoma and have to turn around because you didn't check your calendar.

Otherwise, GREAT place to shoot.

Call them up and go on a tour ... if it's your kind of place, then sign up

Thank you ZirconJohn! Exactly what I needed to know. Will definitely look into it now. Not a bad drive from Santa Rosa either. Better then trying to go to Sacramento or Yolo county's ranges. Much appreciated the response!

Thanks Jet! Will definitely take a look at that link. Granted Sacramento is almost two hours away and that might be more of a hike then I want to do for a bi-weekly range day. Ukiah feels a lot more doable. Now I just need to find someone to give me a tour.
