Oops, looks like the one above is my Tomb Raider clone without the weight on it. Here are all 3 of my stainless USPs. The 2 full size 9mm are now completely identical in setup. The only differences between them are the pat pend on the grip and the rolled HK logo vs laser etch HK. The below pic is prior to the twinkie mods.

Couldn't find a solo pic so here it is with my V51;
RAW SP89 (don't even ask what I paid for it; I should've bought a couple more) By the way; Quote:

Hey guys I was looking at the Cals Sporting Armory site, and I was looking to buy a Streamlight TLR-3 tac light for my USP full-size in .40 cal.
I know that HK makes a proprietary rail that doesn't fit most accessories w/out a HK specific rail adaptor. Here is the TLR-3: http://www.calssportingarmory.com/St...p/stl69220.htm It says it comes w/ 5 different rails to fit different applications, but does anyone know if any of the given rails will fit on the fulll size USP .40? Or will I have to separately by an HK specific adapter? Thanks guys.

I have a regular/non-USP model tlr-3 that came with the 5 or 6 panels. Mine fits fine as is with no panels. I have (had as it's in 10 day jail being sold) a fullsize 9mm AH date code. My best friend's fullsize USP 45 that's like 10 years old was the origional gun this belonged to and it fit fine on his as well. Can't vouch for other tlr-3's, but this one fits fine. Doesn't slip as long as you tighten the screw pretty hard with your fingers etc...

To be more clear, there is a tlr-3 model specifically for the USP. Mine isn't the USP one; it the regular. I didn't need to use my Surefire adapter as it fit just fine without the added panels.

Work gun. Home gun. Carry gun. All 45ACP
The OD frame USP no longer has the hogue grip b/c I didnt care for the feel of the Surefire remote switch w/ the hogue sleeve. Bought some decal grips, but my dog ate them off the coffee table! |

My contribution: Full-sized USP .40 w/ Streamlight TLR-3. Tru-Glo Night Sights on the way.
This thread has been extremely insightful. I bought my USP-specific TLR-3 from opticsplanet and my clips from cal sporting armory. Blade is S & W Extreme Ops.

This forum has members that are very knowledgeable about HK's, but you might look at the HKPRO forum as well.
HKParts.net is a good source for parts. Good luck. |
