Default Which 10/22 should I buy; Exclusive and Rare 10/22's?

In the market for another 10/22 for the wifey, and I had no idea they had so many different kinds from the factory! Is there a best or most rare?

I am leaning toward the 22" stainless with walnut checkered stock and iron sights. the International one looks sweet too. New one will now be for me of course and she gets to have my older carbine model.

It's all cosmetic aside from a couple of the exclusives with longer barrels or different profiles. Most of those are just base models either dipped with a pattern(the camo stuff), or in aftermarket stocks readily available elsewhere.

The KR10/22-22 used to be a Wallyworld special, but not anymore.

If you truly love your wife you can show her all the different options and help her build her own

It'll only cost you about $1000 but it is your beloved wife right ?

My stock out of the box 10/22 from the 80's is so damn accurate I have a hard time believing all of the aftermarket stuff would make much difference. With standing off hand shooting and bulk ammo anyway.

But tactical solution has pink receivers and pink barrels

Volquartsen's snake fluted barrels has an artsy look to them

I'm gonna be an oddball and say Magnum Research's 10/22. It's only 4 1/2 lbs without scope so it might be easier for your wife to handle. It's also a nicer 10/22 without breaking the bank.

If you're looking for something different you could find one of the international 10/22's with a mannlicher stock. Heres a photo of mine:

This is from their web-sight.

"TS157 .920 Barrel Dovetail Adaptor allows the use of TSR100 & TSR200 sighting systems to be used with .920 target barrel equipped 10/22s. The adaptor is a slip fit over the end of the barrel and is locked in place with thread lock compound. The adaptor is machined from 4140 alloy steel with manganese phosphate finish and has a 3/8" dovetail."
I was hoping to put a compensator on the end of it. Might have to go this route though. Thanks!
