Default Mini 14 Mo-Reaper muzzle brake and front sight

Back in June of 2016 I ordered this devise from Sunflower Outdoor Sports. Prior to this I had a stock early model Mini 14 Ranch. No issues with the factory sights. Recently I removed the scope and wanted to shoot with open sights. I shot low about 8 inches after adjusting the factory rear sight beyond the protective wings. This also prevents me from putting the scope back on. The description on the web site stated that the front post is of an AK design and easily replaced. Now to insert the web site info:

I called and he said to adjust the rear sight, which I did. I called back but he didnít. I messaged him and got this response:

Monkey pus monkey pus monkey pus. I am prepared to file the front sight if need be. I have lost joy in my project. But I am not defeated.
