Default Selling multiple rifles at one time?

I have a number of rifles that I need to sell .22's, shotguns, a couple hunting rifles and a couple of AR platform. Also a number of accessories, and a very nice safe.

I want to sell as a lot. Not deal with individual sales. Is this even possible?

Yes, although AR's are a tough sell; some shops won't transfer unless they're
"featureless" and some shops won't transfer at all. If you want to sell as a lot,
expect to take a loss as the prices must entice a potential CGN'er to buy all of it.

If you sell to a gun shop, you'll only get about 40% of the lot's total worth or
sell on consignment with about 25% of the selling prices going to the store.
Unless you're in a bind, I'd personally create a separate for sale thread for the
long guns and the accessories/safe. Offer a discount for bundling items. GLWS!

The ARs have mag locks installed that requires separation of the upper and lower.

So, what I understand is that I can essentially say "here's a safe with a dozen rifles, scopes, magazines, and other items, value is X. selling all for X. As long as nothing is prohibited.

What about the ammo? Since it all has to go through a FFL anyway, would selling the copious amounts of ammo be an issue?

And unfortunately, yes it a "in a bind" situation...

If you're selling here, you'll need create separate threads for each;

1) private firearms sales long guns (list all AR's, shotguns, rimfire rifles)
2) private firearms sales accessories (list safe, other accessories)
3) private ammo sales (check if shop will transfer ammo first)

You can connect the separate threads by adding links of each of
the threads to the others, and describe it as a lot for sale.

Hope it all works out in your favor.

You can't sell more than 500 rounds a month to a private party in CA without a permit and ammo sales must be done at a FFL.

If possible, haul the ammo out of state to a buyer. Don't expect to get the old Calguns prices, though - you'll need to discount it.

You should easily be able to get about 40% of the realistic values of the individual pieces by grouping them all together.
That is to say that nobody is going to pay the individual piece value for your whole collection because almost nobody is looking for your exact collection and even fewer people will have the money to buy it all at once unless its a super screaming deal.

Let's say you have 10 guns worth $400 each on the used market.
Selling them individually would then net you $4000.
Plan to have to lower your total price down to under $2000 before someone is going to buy the whole collection.

Contact Lock Stock and Barrel, they are an auction house. Very honest and very fair. Located in Simi Valley.

They may buy or accept your things for auction. Give them a call and ask.

^^^ Have you used them? They are a middleman that puts them on gunbroker and collects a fee for that. Contact ebr in az he has fair fees. For the ars sell lowers and uppers separate on here.

Put a fair price on it and someone here will buy the collection.

I don't use LSB because that's all they do. No catalog, no live auction, no Proxibid. I don't feel the guns are properly promoted. No way I'd give a super collectible gun to them.

Does make sense over blowing out the guns to a gun shop if you can wait to get paid but there is better options. But the ammo if large quantities would have to be sold to a FFL and most/all will pay a pittance for it.

Thanks everyone for your suggestions. The guns are not collection material. Common weapons. And not worth a lot. I am going to break them up and try and sell individually.
