Default C4 Diopter HK Style Iron Sights - $215

C4 Diopter HK Style Iron Sights - $215

Description:

The rear drum has four different apertures that allow the shooter to adjust the elevation from 100 to 400 yards. The sights use a standard HK type adjustment tool for windage and elevation. The front sight mounts to any commonly available same plane rail style hand guard (Daniel Defense, LMT MRP, LaRue, Knight’s free float rails, Samson, Troy Ind. and Yankee Hill Machine to name a few.) It uses a standard fixed blade which can be replaced with the tritium front sight blade commonly sold for the HK91⁄94/93/ and MP5’s.

Both front and rear sights are also compatible with any standard AR-15/M4 sights, including any standard height back up iron sights or the detachable carry handle rear sights. This offers the shooter maximum sight options. The sights also take up a minimal amount of rail space leaving plenty of room to be used as back up iron sights in conjunction with Aimpoint, EO Tech and most other readily available red dot sights.

Any way to make the 4 apertures all at the same elevation, but different diameters? I'd just as soon zero for one distance and have large diameter aperture for quick acquisition, and smaller ones for precision stuff.

If you buy directly from http://centurionarms.com/ that's how theirs functions. We had them specially make ours with bullet drop compensation.

So with your style, are all the aperture holes the same size?

Also, if I zero the 1st aperture at a shorter distance like 25 or 50yards instead of 100 yards....how does that affect the elevation changes for the rest of the apertures?

The holes are all different sizes and works as a BDC. At 25 yards, I think it will be too close to actively use BDC. It's really designed to sight in at 100 yards and I haven't tried anything closer so I'm not 100% positive one way or another. It should work okay at 50 yards but I haven't tried.
