I got my P6 together again. I decided to have the slide re-nitron'd and nickel plated most of my controls and leaving the hammer alone best $88 I ever spent some of the 225 pics look just like P6 to me, but others have a smoother trigger guard

It's a SIGSAUER picture thread
no thanks / i did not like the look with the hammer that color to my eye/ everything above the midline (bottom of the slide) is black- with the hammer nickel plated, it threw the visual balance off Like with this example- I'd rather the hammer matched the stainless slide than the other controls.

Bought my first Sig. Sig Pro Sp2022. Brought it to the pistol range for the first time and it gave me some problems. Help anyone. I shot 115gr PMC factory and the shells would not eject after each shot. Sig is telling me to try 124gr but f*#k them. I spent $16 for the range and these jerks want me to pay $16 again and buy more bullets to test if it works. Should I just send it back to them anyway.

I had similar issues with the first 150 rounds or so, but not nearly "every shot" like you are explaining. Try the hotter rounds and see if it helps, then go back to the cheaper stuff and just put a couple hundred rounds through. If that doesnt loosen things up (like it did for me) and you are still having constant FTE, then yes, FvCK THEM, send it back.

Anyone know where I can find a West German SIG in good condition? Gunbroker hasn't had much for those...

$700 for a P210...I would gladly pay double that for a working P210 in any caliber... Great pictures. Welcome to Calguns. |

The P225 actually says "Montage Suisse" on the slide. I did some research and supposedly that one was assembled in Switzerland sometime around early 1980. The P226 and the P228 were made in Germany in 1998 and 1997, respectively. Do you recognize those crests on the slides? Can you tell me what they mean? |

the crests specify in with canton the gun was used (you know, switzerland is divided in little parts like the USA. it's different but http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Switzerland#Cantons explains it best) the guns were used at: P228: canton Lucerne http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Canton_of_Lucerne P226: canton Thurgau http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thurgau P225: canton Zurich http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Canton_of_Z%C3%BCrich I hope that serves you as you wanted it Last edited by Stuzzy; 09-08-2010 at 11:41 AM.. |

This is a great posting since I think SIG Sauer pistols are excellent. Many impressive SIGs on this thread.
