For some reason I didn't see this right away. Thanks, I figure if I get a beautiful looking gun, I might as well go all out and customize.

Looks good. I put the Beretta medallions on my M9A1 when I first bought it. Mine seemed to get too slippery after 50+ rounds at the range. How's the texture on those?

This one I'll have to return to Uncle Sam when I get back. It's probably the worst example on this thread.

Toshiba Satellite L755. Couldn't be happier- running great for nearly four years! It does play DVDs.

Just replaced the keyboard myself- inexpensive, and not difficult. I've had lower-line priced Dell and HP and the Toshiba is the best from my experience. And the power cable connector seems to last forever- well made.

That's one Square Deal Warranty I did not use.

My new to me 92a1 with wilson combat trigger, low pro safety and fluted guide rod. Skeletonized hammer, vz grips and weapon light are currently in the mail.

Keeping with the Wilson theme, here is my 92A1 that I bought on Monday, and shipped to Wilson Combat right after. I dry fired it once in the shop, and that's it. It's getting the full custom carry package plus the short pull steel trigger and an Elite II hammer. Something like $900 worth of work on top of the $675 I paid for it. I'm hoping to have it back around Christmas time.

I know it's a lot of money. But considering what they are gonna do with it, I think it's worth it. And certainly a better deal than those $2500 blinged out Glocks that are popular now a days (at least in my opinion). I was on the fence between doing this, or getting either a Wilson CQB or Springfield Custom Shop 1911 in 9mm. I tend to prefer DA/SA guns and I regret selling my Beretta M9 last year so this won out.

The run down of the work is this:

Action tune
Short reach steel trigger
Elite II skeletonized hammer
Contour magazine well
Wilson Battlesight rear sight
Wilson green fiber optic front sight
Fluted steel guide rod
Factory Beretta 13# recoil spring
Checker front and rear back straps
Oversize checker magazine release
Wilson custom carry low profile safety/de-cocker
Wilson golf ball pattern G10 grips in black without logo
Armor-Tuff complete pistol in black
Laser etched Wilson Combat logo on slide

I might end up adding the G de-cocker mod for an extra $150, but given the low profile single side safety Wilson uses, I don't think it's necessary. But that's certainly an option I am considering adding.

Too bad that last item you mentioned is only available to right-handed shooters. We left-handed shooters always feel left out- 1911s, Sigs, etc.

At least Beretta's stock safety is ambi.

Cool- post pics when you get it back!

They had expressed interest in making left sided controls for the Beretta, so maybe that's something that will come in the future. They are fairly new to Beretta mods.

I definitely will. I'm eagerly awaiting it's return. My 30th birthday is Jan 4th and I'm hoping I get it around that time as a gift to myself.

Oh, also bought 5 Mec-Gar 20 round mags for it this week as well.

I'll take one 35 years old. A 40 'cougar' isn't really sexy enough to handle young studs like me.
