Here is its older brother made by Bill Davis (whom I believe Craig used to work for).
as well its cousin (a King Cobra barrel on a Ruger Speed-Six frame - also a Davis creation).

Yes, I personal like older bluing job too. The old bluing looks much better with blue tone vs. the more modern black oxide is more black-ish.

S&W M10 PPC
My old PPC pistol by Fred's Gun Shop, Mechanicsville, VA (Fred Schmidt). This shoots 38SPCL full wadcutters only. It usually wore Bill Davis rubber grips when in use.

Not to be a stickler about things, but what does bulletproof gear have to do with revolvers? Perhaps other than not wanting to get shot by a revolver.

^^^ Nice Colt DS!! I lucked into one of those nickel DS too. Unfired from 1976. Yours looks just as clean.
Here is my Ruger Redhawk .45LC / .45ACP sporting new Pachmayr presentation grips. Shooting 1270ft lbs 325gr hard cast - it really needed these rubber grips Last edited by SkyHawk; 09-16-2019 at 11:48 AM.. |

A couple weeks ago I took my first shot at re-flocking a S&W presentation case. It didn't turn out perfect, but it was good practice, and not too bad for a first try I think. |
