A buddy told me to look this up... I'd rather have a MP5 or clone, I don't get what's the big deal with it.

Thanks! About time someone starts a thread on B&T stuff.

She looks funny without a tail ... (brace), but gonna Form 1 this one. Love the looks of a factory stock.

Can a USW A1 play too?

Gonna give the Tailhook a try for a bit. Again, the factory stock looks much better, but, hey

OK, posting auction pics is super lame, but I just won this P26 on GunBroker:

Will replace it with a better pic when I get it!

Very nice. If you had to pick which one do you like better? I’m looking at getting my first b&t later this year.

Nice. Been wanting to pick one up. Atlantic firearms has them all.

Seen some vids with the franklin binary trigger in the B&Ts. Man they shoot fast, when MAC posted the instagram clip I couldn't tell the difference between a real machine gun

B&T APC308 in 14.5" barrel. Undecided whether I want to pin and weld a JMac RRD-4C KeyMount brake, or just SBR it. So, am sticking with a brace for now.

The easiest is probably getting a 16" barreled pistol and get it converted into a featureless rifle.

The USW-A1 and TP9 can probably sold to LEO, but there is the issue of the threaded barrel on the USW and the tri-lug attachment on the TP9. The USW can use 10 round CZ75 mags.

2- You suck
3- Please give us a range report soon!

mikenewgun87; want to know what all the fuss is about? Pick one of these up, handle it, rack the slide, break it down. Better yet, shoot one! These are the firearms equivalent of a Swiss made watch. They are beautifully designed and magnificently machined. They're not for everyone. But for those who appreciate such things, B&T weapons are simply magnificent, beautiful objects.
Don't be jealous. It is not impossible.

The only way to have the APC308 in CA is to have it as a featureless rifle. Too bad we just missed their 10% off sale hour and a half ago, but Brownells has the 16" or 18" in stock:

https://www.brownells.com/firearms/h...rod127921.aspx

I'm sure EBR Works or audiophil could do the compliance mods for you.

Gratz beanz, it looks a bit like a Bren. Are there many significant similarities between them?

Thanks. Yes, the familiar extruded aluminum upper receiver and polymer lower are there. Similar bolt and carrier design and gas system. Similar recoil spring arrangement. I'm really liking the replaceable AR-type grip much better than the usual B&T grip. That, the folding stock/brace arrangement and the reversible charging handle seem to be the norm on the new rifle designs. The trigger also feels very nice for a factory gun, just like in the 805.

So last night I drove home to my now state and picked up my new toy.

It looks like most Calgunners had voted for the HK SP5, but I already have an MP5 clone. This one cost me less than what I would be able to find an SP5 for anyway, including the price for the suppressor.

Unfortunately, the can has to wait for a tax stamp, but the gun could come home with me. The pic above was "staged" with a DA Wolfman as a stand in. Mississippi Auto Arms is coming out with an adapter to let conventional suppressors to work with SD guns such as this and the MP5-SD.

Beautiful! I don't think anyone can argue with the choice you made. Enjoy and be safe

I finally caved in and got on the Glock magazine bandwagon.

I still think the backward slant on the magazine looks, well, backwards, but since the lower is swappable with the APC9, I went for the Glock lower.

I’m not sure how the Aimpoint on a low mount would work with the factory Gen2 stock (tax stamp applied for.). I might have to go for a medium riser.

Someone should start a "Best reason to leave California" thread.

Can you get a SPC9 in CA if you PPT it from someone?

The easiest is to get the CA legal 16” featureless rifle version. Check Arms Unlimited.

As far as the pistol version goes, I’m not sure. I’ve seen the pistol version of APC9 sold on Calguns, and since the lower is shared between the APC9 and SPC9, there has got to be a way to lock the magazine. But… I’m not familiar with CA laws.
