Thanks! Also like to add a pic of some shrapnel from a German mortar that was removed from my Grandpa some 50+ years after the war. Thanks for your service, Grandpa! |

its the smog yea thats it ^^ I never was able to serve but my father ,cousin and grandfather were in the navy & army and they all where great men . To all those who have served or are serving thank you for all that you do/did

To all of you that have served this country, THANK YOU. I would also like to thank the families of all who have served. The military spouse, children, mothers, fathers, brothers, and sisters. Without your sacrifice, we would not be the country we are today. I am humbled, and honored by all of the sacrifices that all of you make on a daily basis. I wish you all well, and again, THANK YOU.

Its true, you really don't know what they have gone through just by looking at them. This is lost on many people.
It is especially challenging for those who have never been close to it to stop for a moment and try to empithize/understand what they are experiencing and why they are behaving/speaking they way they do. The disconnect is not even always from others outside of the service but also as time goes by, I feel there is a generational disconnect and people forget the past. Shall we never forget history and the men to helped to preserve the American way of life.
