Default Who does good "heavy duty"/not fancy custom leather in SF bay area?

My first need is to lengthen an old double thick carpenter's 'nail bags' belt from old "Oliver's" which used to be off Lincoln St in San Jose.

"Oliver" was a 'love or hate him' crusty old guy who had a distinctive style of carpenter's bags, and made custom saddles(mostly) and also some gun leather(mostly Old West style). Anyone know of anyone 'filling his shoes'??? So far all I've found are places that do horsey stuff for jetsetters, for mega bucks.

Nice that the guy put up the list of custom holster makers, but how about one by REGION for people that want to deal with makers face to face, and/or have odd repairs and sizing done?

I'm also later wanting a Cowboy gun belt but I'm maybe wanting a couple custom features:

a)I'd want it to work well over a fairly wide waist size range, from dress pants to jeans with sweats underneath. Also able to be resized if and when I lose weight.

b)I'd MAYBE want some hidden way to 'lock' the gun in so it can't be just snatched out like you see in movies, but the "lock" would be able to released by the wearer very quickly. Like a pull cord or something.

c)Should work/wear as good as possible if worn when driving car or truck or on motorcycle.

I realize this is probably "crunch time" for any respected local custom maker, but I'd be willing to give a beginner some work especially on the tool belt and bags, which can be 'rough'(they very rough now).

never dealt with them but a guy at a job site was wearing his tool bags so maybe you could call them up and see what they can do for you.

thx, looks like real good stuff I'd not seen, and ALMOST as burly as old Oliver's.

They don't seem to be a repair and totally custom shop, however, so I'm still looking for one in SF bay area, hopefully not too far from San Jose.
