Default Do These Grips Make My Colt Look Too Bling?

hahaha

I was looking for a deal on some Crimson Trace carry grips for the Officers, and I snagged these flame jobs!

Also ordered a couple of Virgil Tripp's, 7 round mag's.

I think I might just end up carrying this little heater.

No but that Colt is beautiful...Nothing like a Colt.
I honestly thing standard grips are just a tad too thin.
I like it.

There is no good answer to that question. It is like your wife or girlfriend asking you if the outfit she is wearing makes her butt look big! LOL

Nice looking gun!

hahaha...that's exactly where the title came from!

They actually fit my hands pretty well, too.

Of course, I'm old and half blind so the CT helps, but I practice with the irons.

Only issue I see is the flames are not big enough, in the sense that I can't clearly tell they are flames which would be "look at these pretty unique designed grips". Yet there is just enough white paint to make it seem like "hey there are white paint stains on these grips".

Could be one of those things where in person the detail is probably better.

I like it! Looks really clean, but just "custom" enough that it's different and not obnoxious.

No worries. It looks great and is just understated enough to remain cool.

That's exactly what I was going for.

Truth be known it's the cheapest set I could find.

And Flitz does indeed work on stainless.

Take a pic straight on from the grip. I can't tell if its supposed to be flame or what that silver stuff is on the grip.

Now that I can see it a bit better, looks great to me. Fits the overall look of the gun.

I like it because it's actually not blingy - it's subtle enough that it doesn't try to look flashy.
