Maria Kennedys husband was worse the Gray Davis IMO because he did everything the dems wanted and embarrassed the GOP . His signing of anti gun dem items are still with us !
I freely admit I got conned by this European sleezball and to this day I can’t stand to even see his name!

Hopefully he will just go away !

Yes. Even if Newsome went on a weeklong drinking binge with his friend's wife and posted it all to Instagram, he would win. If he were indicted for a serious felony between now and November, I guess he could lose or they would somehow subsitute someone else on the ballot? Not sure of the rules in such situations. That's all I can think of. But there's no indication that he has any problems like that.

Yes. There's just no math that lets Cox win. That's why the Republicans here are unable to recruit qualified candidates for state positions. They didn't endorse anyone. They didn't even have any serious candidate running for Senate. They haven't competed for this state in a presidential race for at least two decades now.

Demographics is destiny.

I also voted for Travis and I'll be voting for Cox in November. I know it's a losing vote but I don't want to sit back and whine and do nothing.

If it is Cox and Newsome in November, I would vote for Cox obviously however I'm hearing rumblings that there was massive voter fraud (especially in LA County) and the election is going to be challenged. I believe if it hasn't happened already, there will shortly be some lawsuits filed in the court that will request a recount. There are over 2 million ballots that still haven't been counted and tons of Travis Allen voters who are seeing that their vote wasn't counted when checking the online sites. (Lots of Villaragosa votes too that weren't counted). If they do audit the LA county votes, there is a possibility that either Allen or Villaragosa could move into 2nd place.

With the number of democrats in California, even if the polls closed at noon and all the liberals woke up at 2pm (like normal) to vote they would still win. John Cox wants cops working into their 70's, and wants to rape their pensions, Newsom hates cops (they are on equal footing here). Cox has zero chance of winning, I'm writing in Mickey Mouse, again.

I saw on TV tonight that Allen endorsed Cox. I don't know how much difference it will make. If Allen was your man would you vote for Newscum without the endorsement.

I'm throwing away my vote, to Cox, as a protest against Newsome.

I've heard absolutely nothing from Cox these past two months, just a tweet from Trump a couple days ago giving his endorsement. Is he actively campaigning? This reminds me of the primaries where Allen had people talking but Cox just coasted by and got the regular GOP vote and win. I will be voting for Cox, but I wonder how someone on the offensive like Allen would be doing? If there's anything we learned from 2016 it's that when you have nothing to lose its better to be the firebrand.

I also have not heard or seen one single piece of campaigning from Cox. Where is he? What is he doing?

I believe w/o evidence that he is waiting for perfect timing to launch a strong offensive.
In the meantime it doesn't hurt for us to talk up some points he has already made on talk radio.

The Insider Update
August 23, 2018

We learned of the senseless tragedy of Mollie Tibbetts this week.

My deepest condolences and prayers go to her family.

Fox News published my comments:

John Cox, a GOP candidate in California's race for governor, released a statement comparing Tibbetts' murder to the "heartbreaking death" of Kate Steinle, who was shot and killed on a San Francisco pier in 2015. Investigators said the suspect, Jose Ines Garcia Zarate, was in the U.S. illegally. A jury acquitted him of murder, manslaughter and assault last year but convicted him of being a felon in possession of a firearm.

"As a father of four daughters, it crushes my heart to see yet another family go through this nightmare," Cox said. "Those who want to abolish ICE need to consider the consequences of their rash proposal."

He continued, "The Mollie Tibbetts case is one more tragic example of a senseless loss that never should have happened, similar to Kate Steinle’s heartbreaking death in San Francisco."....[snip]

The Insider Update
August 17, 2018

Last year the state legislature spent $70 million to improve wait times at the DMV. The result? Wait times are up 60 percent over last year.

Several legislators requested an audit of the DMV a few weeks ago to find out where the money went and why the wait times have increased. Unfortunately, a joint legislative committee killed that idea, once again showing demonstrating that Sacramento's political class doesn't care about most Californians who are having to spend an entire day at the DMV away from their family, their jobs, and school.

I have been visiting DMVs all around the state to listen to the stories of those who are stranded in line, give them bottles of water, draw attention to this issue, and make sure the people know that help is on the way.

Fortunately, I've been able to drive a lot of media coverage of the issue, and if you could, please take a few minutes to watch the clips below and share them on your Facebook and Twitter.

Recent polls show the race tightening. Curiously, Hispanic voters polled are split on Newsom and Cox. Still very significant blocks of undecided voters.

Newsom is such a scumbag, the more people get to know him the better. LOL

Just show ads of the biosuit guys cleaning all the crap off the San Fran streets and say all of California will be like this under Newsom. That was his legacy.

That and the Dem’s water restrictions on the horizon in 2022. If that’s not a political time bomb I just don’t know what else could be.

SACRAMENTO — A newly released research poll from Opinion Research on Elections and Public Policy shows Republican John Cox is closing the gap between himself and Democrat Gavin Newsom in the race for California’s next Governor.

Nine-hundred voters participated in the survey between August 29 and September 2.

The results show Newsom at 44 percent, Cox at 39 percent and 17 percent of voters are unsure.

The survey also shows Cox is well outperforming his GOP base – fewer than 25 percent of of California voters – and captures a similar percentage of the Latino voters as Newsom.

I'm guessing he didn't have the money for a 10 week campaign so we might see a 4 or 5 week campaign. If its intense enough great; we know GN's will be intense. What I find intriguing is that newsome hasn't come out blasting him much yet. I have seen a few newsome ads but I felt he had the resources for a 10 week campaign and isn't spending it - maybe hoping he can parlay his CA win into a presidential run.

I've heard a few Cox commercials on KNX this week.

Sick of the teacher's union "billionaires" schtick they've been running every election since 2016.

The reason Newsom isn't doing anything is because he believes as many do that he has this in the bag. He won't debate either because well he sucks and just wants this job to move to the White House.

Little does he know the rest of the nation doesn't care for his Socialist BS.

Hopefully, this will backfire on him like it did Hillary.

Please let that be true.
We don't need Noisome in the governor's office.
I voted Allen in the primary but I won't vote for the coked-up used car salesman no matter the odds against Cox.
Its Cox or nothing now.
