Components in the Fresno area?

I will be traveling in a couple of weeks to the mountains and would like to stop on the way back to stock up on powder, brass, and primers. I will be going through Fresno and I know there is a Sportsman's Warehouse there, but can anyone point me to other sources in that area? Where I live there is nothing to be had nearby, so I usually try to lay in supplies when on the road. Many thanks.

Herb Bauer's, but he was pretty high last time I went in there. You might try Fresno Ag Hardware, they had ammo and I think some components.

Herb Bauer’s is closed it’s a Turner’s now. They may have what you need.

My employer reloads he gets everything online however so I’m not sure how much these guys stock. Call maybe before you go to see what they have.

Yeah, Herb Bauer’s closed down. Turners will have what you need, but I second Fresno AG. They have a good selection of ammo and goodies.

I don't buy anything from any of them anymore but good to know that Herbies is gone, most in the store were @ssholes and way over priced. Easley's in Visalia was so much better even if Jerry was a cranky sort Marsha was good to deal with but they sold out and moved to Tennessee I think it was. None of the gun stores I have visited in Calif. over the last 15 years were all that friendly. Good luck finding the things you need or want.

So Valley Rod and Gun is still open. I think McCormick's is gone.

Thanks to all for the replies. I will see if any of your suggestions work for my travel schedule, but I have a feeling Sportsman's Warehouse may fit my needs.

If you need bullets check out Rod's and Guns', they are also the only place in town that carries Sam 1's wads for steel shot.
