Thank you! She's been a great shooter over the years.

Yours is super clean and classic looking. Almost like a DMR style. Everything you need and nothing you don't. What scope is that?

How do you like the Weaver 2-10(I think)? I have a 3-15x50 EMDR on a 300WM and it's freaking amazing for an $800 optic. I just wish they would throw down with some better reticles.

Good eye, its the 2-10. So far, very happy. I found this one for $500 with the larue mount and jumped on it.

I'm not a huge fan of the reticle either. Sometimes simple is good but it's almost too simple.

That's a helluva deal! Yeah, I love everything about that line of optics except the reticle selection. Will be interesting to see if the next generation have something a little more modern.

Daniel Defense DDM4v11 PRO 18" rifle complete upper mated to a Spikes Calico Jack lower with DD parts Kit and Geiselle SSA-E. Optic is the Leupold 4-12x40 with AR mount. It is essentially a DDM4v11 with a different lower and furniture. DDM4v11 uses the SSA-E from factory. This one cost me about $1,300-1,400 to build.

This gal is a pig, BTW. The bull barrel definitely adds a lot of weight. I wouldn't be running around with this thing for sure. It's a dedicated bench/prone rifle.

Not at all; some of us not only like to share a pic of our rifle, but also what it's capable of

Not usually in the habit of taking pics of group sizes as I figure inside of 1" is g2g by any standard. But this was the first one shot with the current barrel in the rifle I posted above before zeroing. Thought it was kinda cool and was pretty happy.

Much appreciated I've made a few changes since then, finally got a more clone correct Leupold 3.5-10X40 and swapped out the A1 stock for a SOPMOD. It's also wearing a Sierra Precision grip now, although I don't have any pictures with that yet:

I've been wanting to build a MK12 Mod 0 for a while, yours just may be the inspiration to actually get me started!

Did you source the entire upper from PRI?

I built it from individual parts rather than getting an entire upper, although I did go through PRI for a lot of the parts. I ended up doing quite a bit of modification on the new PRI Gen II retro handguard and front sight to get them looking more like the parts used on the original early Mod 0 rifles. One of these days I need to do a write up with pics of all the work I did on this rifle.....

I'd definitely take cues if you made a post about your build.

ARMS TRR and TRC go on your front ring; move it up front and you're good to go

So in order to install the ring rail and cap in lieu of the front ring, the scope would have to move backwards and upsets your eye relief?

I found the 3.5-4.5" of eye relief to be rather generous; guess your length of pull is far different than most others.

I don't find it comfortably for me if the RR and Cap was on the front ring... iono why.. even tried it on w/ a VLTOR A5 Tube & Enhancement Sopmod stock NO GO, like my Collapse Stock in the 1-2 position aha

ETA: YEAH I've decided to ditch the RR/RC once I get of work.. Anyone interested It's been grind down to fit in between the Elevation and Magnification knob..

Conditions were perfect; no wind, no sun (so no glare), etc. but it was pushing +95° and the barrel got real warm within 30 shots.

Think I'll be heading out to the range tomorrow right after work to sight in the scope.. OR better yet call it a half day and head to the range haha.. Yeah I was leaning more towards the A5 myself.. But from a guy that HATED A1 stocks, and after a few months playing around with it.. its growing on me
