I like RIA 1911, they are shooters. I don't want to shoot my expensive Colt 1911s.

I scored two Franklin Armory forged lowers yesterday. I had the sales guy check stock at the warehouse and found they had 15 or so in stock. A buddy of mine went in today to see if there were any left... The Franklin lowers are gone. However, they now have Mega Arms lowers in stock - $159

Any particular store, or are they in the warehouse?

Looks like the Mega lowers sold-out last night, but Kearny Mesa has plenty of PMC .45 on the shelf.

In turners now. Mostly shotgun and hunting ammo. They are taking orders on mini 14. Arsenal ak for 1700$. They told me I won't be able to get my golden boy until august. So I switched to a regular henry that they had in store.

I don't think I've ever seen so much .45ACP in my life, but Turner's Kearny Mesa definitely has it; it's like the only 'ammo they have!

Oh, I forgot to mention on the day of my visit:

*N.A.A. "The Earl" on sale for $200-something Low to Mid 200's?

*Browning Hi-Power for $900-something. I've never seen a Hi-power in person, looked really, really good! I would have fondled it had I had a number.

Arsenal AK-47's are in stock, it's the SAM7R-61C, ca legal, and while I was picking up ammo, 22lr, 45, and 308, there were over 5 people filling out DROS for these and others wanting one, warehouse received 100, not sure how many are left but it seems as if they are going fast.

My local Turner's is adding optics, forward grips, mounts AND $300 flashlights now. I saw one AR with about $1500 in extras.

I have been fortunate to be in store when they were putting stock out. I was able to score PMags, .223 ammo(not WPA) and Colts this way.

At Turner's in Rancho this morning:

Daniels Defense M4LW with aimpoint optics for just over $2K.
Ruger SR556E with aimpoint optics for just under $2K.
Benelli M4 for just over $1,800.
Oh and ran into the president of the NRA, Mr. David Keene on the way out.

They've been slowly coming in since last week, but they call the people who put in their deposits in chronological order.

Sure......and it has nothing to do with them wanting to making a profit twice from people that just want to buy a rifle......

They select the optics that will be combo-ed to the AR. They will not swap their selection with your preference.

They are also only allowing 1 AR purchase every 30 days to prevent purchase and resale.

This seems to be slowing purchases down slightly. But only very slightly. What once was gone in seconds, now seems to be lasting minutes and maybe even hours. If your serious about getting one, I suggest finding out what day your local Turner's gets their deliveries and be first in line early in the AM before they open (at least 30 mins) and you may get lucky. They've told me that they don't know what they will be getting in in advance so it'll take some luck. It took me a couple weeks but I found exactly what I was looking for in consecutive days. Good luck and happy hunting.

Wow, and they choose what optics to combo with it?? It looks like I won't be buying another rifle from them soon. Might possibly buy another handgun from them but not another rifle till they drop that policy. Turner's has fair prices and the people at my local Turner's (Reseda) are good people but that company policy has to go.

i'd be shocked if the the policy doesn't get waived if you wanted to pair your new gun with an ACOG

I tried that. The rifle I wanted had a Leopold scope and I preferred a more expensive ACOG. Initially the manager refused. After a half hour of bargaining, he finally relented. Even though he eventually gave it to me, that's not exactly a winning formula for retaining customers. I found the whole process of practically begging to buy high-priced products to be demeaning.
