Artist is working feverishly on T-shirt artwork.
Since we are about three weeks before Thanksgiving we are working the Thanksgiving theme.

Maybe some Brains Souffle or Brains n Bacon Bits for ambiance

How we doing on RSO's?

I was thinking about event monies for things like Porta Potties etc, how about a GoFundMe page?
Not everyone makes it out every event but I'd think many would donate a buckortwo to help out with expense's. I know we put out a Donation pot on site but this would broaden the opportunity for Calgunners not attending this particular event to assist.

Each time I go I meet new folks coming out for the first time and they tell me they finally made it. After watching these SSZS go by all the time and them not able to participate cause of life getting in the way they made it out.

I walk the line of campsites and introduce myself each time and its amazing to me how folks pack up a blanket, a lunch or picnic basket and camp on the desert floor. We BS around the campfire then they go for some night shooting or BS into the night. So many variations on the theme.

Don't forget to add your potluck/supplies donation to the google sheets page:

PLEASE SEE HERE FOR THE SSZS 9.5 DONATION SIGNUP SHEET FOR THE SATURDAY POTLUCK LUNCH. Also on the Google sheet are areas to donate equipment usage or skills (IE Certified Paramedic, Certified RangeMaster, Etc.)

I'd vote against this. Not the gathering of monies in general, but gofundme in particular. They take way too much of the money, and I guess I assume they are anti gun anyway.

Dear comrades with arms, I will not be joining the upcoming celebration of our right to bear arms. I had to take off a little time from work for a couple of surgeries. Good news, no radiation or chemo needed. I give the thanks to our Lord in Heaven and the people He used to take care of me. The time I would have used has been allocated towards a family outing to the Redwoods. I plan on seeing you for our next gathering in April.

Aim small and miss small, Donn

The family and I are in! My son will be 7 months old by that time, perfect age for him to get caught up in all this stuff. I just may have to get my own trailer for this trip, though!

For those thinking of doing this, I would give it some serious thought. One Zombie shoot I rented a trailer and a member from San Jose who I didn't know decided to join up and share expenses. One of the other mods, who I had never met also joined us. I had my 14yr. old grandson with me and we all had a great time. Brian from SJ even gave me a brick of .22lr for my grandson and let him shoot a couple of his guns.

The second time ivanimal and two of his friends that I hadn't met shared a RV and other than all the snoring things were fine. I'd say go for it if you want to attend this great event and also meet some other Calguns members.

ISM415 and the gang from the 707 did it @ 5.5 - in edition the best tasting hibachi-grilled 1/4 venison. Most amazing meat i've ever eaten.

That was definitely a once-in-a-lifetime type deal.

Hopefully it warms up. I didn't mind the 80s either way, as long as it's not windy, we'll be fine.
That being said, we're still far out so we'll see how it updates in the 2 weeks proceeding.
