Thanks Oswald2001. BTT for a great seller.

Quick question: Is the Aussie non-magnetic? Oddly, I don't own a manget to test myself.

Sumo99,

It was nice to meet you.

I think the Aussie is non-magnetic and the South African is magnetic.

I'm not sure, though, and I don't have a magnet either.

I used to shoot both at Burro Canyon and never got any botheration about it.

UPDATE: Per some folks @ FAL files, it appears that the Aussie and South African are both NON-MAGNETIC.

The South African (7.62x51) does not attract a magnet and is good to go at Burro.

Good luck and happy shooting.

The stripper clips were made to use with the Aussie version of an FAL.

I have used them with my M1A.

I did have to 'break them in' for use with my M1A. They were tight at first and required 5 or 10 uses before they were 'smooth'.

One thing about stripper clips is that they can work well on one rifle and not another.

South African is good stuff, use it on my DSA SA58 and 1919a4.

People keep coming over to pick it up.

I have some health issues going on, so, it's about all I can do to sell it this way.

Thanks.

It's not so much persistence.

It's really more patience.

I have all the time in the world.

BTW, I also have some NATO 9mm 124gr. in factory packed .50 cal cans.
