Just finished sight removal and install of new Trijicons on my SIG 228. Had issues with my earlier version of the tool but dafish took care of me with a replacement of a newer one. Awesome product and awesome Customer Service!

Just got my tool yesterday; very pleased.
You can add a H&K USP Compact .45 to the list of slides that this will work with. Took a little fiddling with the hieght; but worked like a charm.

Many thanks, I'll be putting this tool through the paces.

cut up pieces of drywall shims(cardboard) are the ticket to not marring the slide.

I just received mine. To tell you the truth, I like this little gizmo so much I have it as a desk decor as it looks so neat! Kinda like a conversation piece, if you may! Dafish, better patent this thing and go for full production! Can you say, Brownell's....Midway....Cabela's...

Default Sight tool for $49 shipped

Thanks for the kind words, Calgunners have been the best.

I sell these for $54 shipped on GA, Ebay and Project 2000.

Calguns members will always get them for $5 less than anywhere
else because if it were not for all of you I would not be making them.

Thanks to all of you,
Danny

Kimber custom is still 1911 so there's no reason it should not work, now for the PPKS you tell us.

Default Handgun Sight Tool

Received mine last week and today was the first chance I had to use it. I removed the rear sight from my Glock 26 and installed the TruGlo TFO rear sight in about 5 minutes with this tool. It took longer to align it than it did to press out my original sight and press in the new sight. Sure beats beating on it with a hammer and a punch, which I used to do (with mixed sucess).

As most of you know, the front sight on a Glock is a snap to remove and install, so the tool was not necessary for it.

Great tool!

Thanks, Danny.

Dave

It will work with the Kimber and PPK but you need to remove the safety on the PPK.

Default Awsome tool, Awsome customer service

I purchased Gen 1 tool. Did not work on CZ pistols due to low profile of slide. Dafish modified a new blade and sent free of charge. That proved too unstable. His new Gen 4 was received on Saturday (no charge), how cool is that? Sight came off in less than 5 min, no slippage, smooth as can be. Lots of force required, but the tool handled it flawlessly. This is a great product by a great guy at an unbelievable price.

My Sig P239 needs it's night sights replaced... and my other two could use night sights, so I'll take one as well.

I'll PM ship to once I've gotten the Paypal done.

Sending Paypal via your site. Was on hold for an MGW on Brownells because I had $20 credit.. but this is cheaper and universal, plus supporting a Calgunner!

Payment sent as radslug/Andrew

Mine came in yesterday. Eager to try it out when I get home tonight. Fast shipping and product looks good so far. Will update after usage. Thanks again!

Update: Successfully replaced my Glock sights with relative ease. Definitely make sure you some how cover up the contact areas. Unfortunately I couldn't cover up the sight pushing blade with tape like some of the older models so my sights did get a little marred.. nothing a lil cold blue won't ease.

One inquiry though for those of you using this tool... is this normal? I don't even know how this was caused. I know for a fact I didn't drop it, I've only used it once, and there was no excessive pressure anywhere..
