Default More interesting finds in the estate

Still Going through a ton of everything, but today came across some boxes of
45ACP labeled Ammunition Lot EC-24723XB. Headstamp reads EC 43 along with some from 1942.

Which obviously will be corrosive primers apparently from the EC Evansville Ordnance Plant, Evansville, Indiana.

Surprisingly the boxes are in great condition. There is even a sealed box of 20 rounds vs. the other boxes of 50. Been like a treasure hunt so far. More to come.

Was surprised to find that apparently this ammo is considered "collectable". They are selling each round for 5.00 a piece at the below site. Not sure how valid that is but maybe someone can chime in.

Yeah collectible ammo is a thing. That .45 ammo may be corrosive...I am not sure myself.

The primer definitely is. I checked that previously.
