When did your buddy put a deposit for his lower? I wonder if they are letting the ones who put the deposit first, dros first.

Started my Dros Yesterday, at the end of the day in Chino Hills. I did my Deposit on the 24th. They didn't call me to let me know anything, I have just been frequenting the store as it is not that far from me. on the 30th when i was there they told me no information or change in when they were expecting them. One interesting thing is that they are filling out the paper work to start the Dros without serial numbers for the lowers. I believe this means they have them in the back on a pallet and are planning on finalizing Dros for everyone after hours when they have the time. seems like this was a company choice to help alleviate the pressure of having to do them all right now, and being backed up like crazy. Keep trying people. i imagine if you go first thing Wednesday to any of the stores you should be good to go. Happy new year

I also got my DROS process started at Chino Hills yesterday. No serial #s at that point but the sales guy told me they were starting them. Long wait though.

Just got off the phone with FV store and per the guy I spoke to "mr. X" they are not doing any paperwork until they get serial numbers? I told him about the other locations already starting paperwork and he repeated to me they are not doing anything without serial numbers.

My guess is those guys went to stores that are alittle more proactive, I was actually told don't bother calling, they'll call me. I'm not going to hold my breath, I think if I actually walk in things may be different. It all depends on who's going to help me at the counter, and if he or she is in a good mood I may actually receive a correct answer.

I got turned down by two different people at the Torrance location. Both employees said I couldn't start any paperwork until they called.

I was about to be told no, till the manager came by and said yes, they could do it starting today cause the lowers were going to be in next week. I don't know if this helped, but I was also doing paper work on an LMT Defender AR and said I could not wait till the lower came in.

I was told today the lowers are in the warehouse and are in the process of being received. I was told "They don't need a serial number on a long gun to start Dros." I was also told "Corporate said to start running Dros because the lowers are in the warehouse." I guess the serial can be filled in later, this was @Corona.

Went to Torrance yesterday. Manager said the PSA lowers are at the warehouse and will arrive (at least at the Torrance store) on Tuesday, then they have to assign each one to customers then they will start calling once serial numbers are assigned. Don't expect to be able to start DROS until probably Thursday. They said they are doing it differently because of the amount of orders and they are taking precautions to not mix up any paperwork or leave anyone out.

When I ordered mine a couple weeks ago they started filling out the paperwork and stopped when they got to the serial number because they didn't have the actual lower on-hand. So I doubt anyone has started the DROS or ten day wait because no paperwork has been filed yet. Don't expect to pick up your lower until the 20th or so.

They had a special on some other lowers a few weeks back; maybe one of those? Called San Marcos and they said that they are not in yet.

If they took a deposit...you are guaranteed one of the 3000, right? I put down a deposit on 12/28 in San Diego.

Just got off the phone with the San Diego location - they are not ready to start the DROS yet. The Turners rep said they will contact those who put a deposit down within the next week or so.

Great. Thanks for the info. I don't mind the wait as long as I know I have one waiting for me.
