The first gun I wanted, even before I was old enough or knew how to buy guns, was a Walther P99. I still haven't bought one yet but I think that should be next on my list.
Any suggestions on which caliber or trigger system? |

Suggested caliber: 9mm (this gun seems like it's originally designed for 9mm). It has a noticeable nap for it due to high bore axis, but not too bad. The 40 versions are definitely extremely snappy.
Trigger mode: Personally, I like the AS version (DA/SA). However, if you want a consistent trigger pull throughout, get the QA version. Size: I lean more toward the fullsize. Better sight radius, 3 backstrap options vs 2 for the compact and just as concealable (about the same size as a Glock 19). |

Man, makes me want to buy a set of OD Green and Grey as well after seeing some of your guys' P22's with those grips on them. Has anyone been able to just buy new grips from a local shop? I have google'd for them but cannot find them

Here is our latest lineup of Walthers. My wife's P22 target pistol and P5 bedside defense piece are included as well as an upgrade P1.
More to come.

Top row: P1, P5, P88, P99 AS (9mm), P99 AS (.40S&W), P22 CA Target (w/laser).
Bottom row: TPH (.22LR), PP Super (.380), PPK/S (.380), PPK (.380), PP (.32), Manurhin PP Sport (.22LR). Reverse order. Nill grips on the P5 and P88 do make a difference.
