Default Help me decide GSG 1911 vs Walther P22 vs ....?

I have an itch on buyin a 22 lr pistol. I am thinking on getting the GSG 1911 or Walther P22. Should I get a 22 or just buy some more ammo for my centerfire firearms?

no SIG mosquito?!?!?!? I love my mosquito and after some homesmithing and polishing up it eats almost everything everytime...yay bulk ammo. Now my wallet has more funds for more guns & ammo, since im mainly shooting cheaper 22's for trigger practice & fun

Haha I am planning on buying tomorrow and the shop doesn't have the Sig. Walther, GSG, and Ruger are the only in stock.

I had a Walther p22. First round of a fresh mag loaded and fired just fine. Everything past the first round was either a failure to feed or failure to fire. Sent it to S&W to have them say there was nothing wrong. Next trip to the range same problem. Got rid of it the next day.

I have the gsg 1911 and like it for cheap 1911 type practice. It's a lot of fun to shoot.

My wife bought herself a P22 a couple of months ago. I never cared for them and tried to talk her out of it. She bought it anyway because she liked the feel of it. I've shot it and ... I've learned to like it. I enjoy shooting it quite a bit.

Go check them both out and buy the one you like better.

Or, just buy them both.

I've held them both and they fit nice. I do not have a 22 handgun yet so I am debating. Kinda leaning towards GSG.
