Default What semi tacticool .22 handguns are out there?

im looking into getting a .22 handgun and i know of the gsg1911, sig mosquito, and the walther p22. im not too into .22revolvers, and the ruger marks are fun to shoot (ive shot a friends) but it doesnt catch my eye.

is there anything else out there? and im not looking for a .22 conversion kit for another handgun, im looking for a stand alone .22

thanks!

Since you didn't limit it to .22lr, how about this one: http://www.midwesthuntersoutlet.com/...%2bjdyolrqe%3d

Or a S&W 22A in .22lr.

What about the Bersa Thunder 22?

You can get the GSG 522PK which is technically a pistol if you wanna be really tacticool like I wanted to be. So tacticool you even get to have a bullet button like the AR guys.

PMR-30 is .22mag and they are still working out feeding/reliability issues. It would be pointless to get it rostered, then have to fix something and be forced to re-roster the new working guns. This one will probably take a while, but i wish they'd hurry up with getting rid of the hi-cap ban and roster because this will probably be the first off roster pistol I buy!!

If you own a Glock 22, there is a .22 LR conversion kit out there, basically a slide for shooting .22 and a 10 rd mag.

I saw one being sold on here a while back and dam near broke down into tears when i realized i didn't have enough cash on hand to buy it without going into my savings. I was able to hold one last time i was in AZ and it felt just right in my hand, dam i want that pistol.

2nd on the Ruger 22/45. And it doesn't look like you're trying too hard to be 'cool'.

Intratec TEC-22. Once you tweak them to make them reliable and CA compliant they're lots of fun for cheap.

Now THAT is tacticool.

Now, I'm putting on my flamesuit, and not trying to hurt any feelings, or piss anyone off and maybe its just me but I don't get how someone could consider the Ruger 22/45 to be grouped in as even semi-tacticool. I'm not knocking the platform, and I know they are a great target gun and will out shoot just about every other .22 pistol that has been mentioned in this thread. But looking at one in the way I did when I was first getting into guns, I thought they were the most retarded looking firearm I had ever seen. They kinda scream firearm geek, cool in the way a nerd thinks his still functioning Apple II is cool. Maybe its just me, but I don't see the "cool" factor, in the sense that if you were showing it off to someone that wasn't familiar with firearms they would think it looks ridiculous (when compared to a tacticool pistol like a P22 or an AR pistol)

Imo the mosquito and p22 are the "coolest" looking semi auto pistols readily available in lgs I however imo from experience think any semi auto that doesn't say mkIII or buckmark on the side just doesn't hold up to my standards of reliable... I've also shot and own a high standard duramatic and a revolver... Revolvers are the only rimfire pistol I'd want to trust my life to if I had to but the listed semi autos are fun to own...and reliable enough again all just my opinion
