What does an actual blue label deal get you? I have to see if it’s worth digging out the DD214 and going down there....

Might be time to look into a G20.

Huh... Just called Poway Weapons & Gear & they don't know anything about it.

Standard bore Glocks with 3 mags are roughly $500 OTD (actual OTD is less than that).
G17, 19, 26, 22, 23, 27, etc...

Large bores will cost a bit more.

Nice, may have to buy one just because.

Always good to see manufacturers wanting to help out veterans; I've saved a ton on high dollar items.

The issue I ran into trying to purchase a blue label Glock years ago was finding a dealer with any desirable blue label model in stock. FFLs might have six model 19s sitting in the case but not a single blue label 19. If you live near an FFL who has a good relationship with Glock they might have a better supply.

BFD. Many of the models are off-roster so they are out.

The few I'd be interested in don't have a big enough discount to make me dig out my DD214.

Being a GSSF Lifetime Member, I can get Blue Label pricing...

But as you've said, most of the nicer ones are Off Roster - my Purchase Coupons are now piling up!

Hopefully, I may be able to use them if ever the Roster gets disbanded (highly unlikely) OR I move out of Komiefornia...

Check GSSF pricing and the gun comes with 3 mags instead of two but subcompacts still come at two

If anyone is thinking of doing this I would suggest getting a Glock 10/45 as it's rumored the big bore Glock's will be discontinued Gen 3

This would be a good read on this one, ie., if the Blue Label purchase by the son was intended as a gift to the father.

Of course, I may be mistaken in my understanding - I am open to comments.

Since Glock lost the Army contract, they're gonna need to make up some sales ground.

Why can't it just be they are offering a deal to Military?

Blue label refers to LEO/Military discounts for one.

They'll swap out the high-caps, obviously. Some places only give you two mags when they swap out.

That's weird, gen 4's are lower priced than gen 3's....

I asked a local shop employee and they are aware of the online rumors but are witing for word from Glock. He also said they do not usually have 3rd generations with blue label but he will try to get one for me when the program rules are sent to them.
Makes sense since LEOs can get the newest models. I cannot wait to retire and move out of CA.

Just bought a CZ Scorpian so my money for guns needs to recharge. If I didn't have a 2.0c this sale would have pushed me to get a g19 mos.

Hubby may be looking to add a G26 to the family.
Need to check around for San Bernardino area dealers that will honor this promo.

Has anybody actually purchased on this deal? I inquired at two of the listed dealers & they knew nothing about it.

I'll be checking. If the price is right I might bite on a G20. Have to be a smokin' deal & I'll have to purchase a separate safe to keep it in.

Their price is close to msrp.
Blue label price is what above poster listed.
You should be able to search the interweb for price. Or even gssf blue label list. I believe one is posted somewhere on glock talk forums.

For example, one can pick up a 19/23/31, etc. smaller caliber glocks for under 500 OTD with blue label.

Dumb question but how is this any special? Arn't military veterans allowed to blue label from the start?

I swear my buddy bought one from proforce in la brea and he's a army vet who's currently working construction right now.

Vets are allowed based on: Military personnel including Reservists and National Guard with I.D also includes retired Military with "retired" credentials (Military picture ID front & back)
(Excludes Contractors and Civilian Employees)
DD214/discharge papers do not qualify - If you cannot submit your ID please use our dealer locator to find a dealer in your area
