While I know you leave some pretty big shoes to fill, I'm sure that someone could help out and run that this year. I'm planning on getting out there Thursday and shooting friday, I could help out with it this year.

I'm good for any weekend in Nov.

My Dad will be back from his Summer Exodus in Minnesota at end of Oct.

Your dad is a hoot. I'll make sure and talk with him a bit again.

Still haven't a clue as to a design for SSZS 9.5 T-design.

Any ideas?

I'm thinking of a Thanksgiving theme since it will be 3 weeks later.

I would this opportunity to elaborate about this matter if you would.

In my book and since day one you are the only ones who decide our target date.

For years several plausible dates had been proposed and a general vote produced, logistics and event support were accommodated per community vote.

It just happen that in this particular case the vast majority of our NRA certified RSO that volunteer their time to assist our family event are time constricted due to inherent obligations and that's exactly why I was suggesting that date as a plausible target.

Please let me know what do you thing and we go from there.

Respectfully.

Lonewolf.

Lonewolf.

My thinking is that with just shy of 300,000 members not everyone can make it to these events all the time.
Any date picked will work for some and not others.
Each time I go to the SSZS events I met new folks saying it is their first time.

So I think any date selected is going to be good to go.

I'm in for the 1st weekend in Nov
Artist is in work scribbling now.

Ummmm...if it's the first weekend in November, there's a GOOD chance I can make it. I have to be in Corona on the night of the 4, through afternoon of the 6th for work, and can just come down 2 days early. I like that plan.

I'd be in for the starting week of November, it would be my first SSZS.

but just to confirm, there wont be a poll for other dates, correct? The issued date of the event is Nov 1-4?

I'm good for any dates other than Oct 13&14, the semi planned date of the Murrieta Rod Run. I say semi-planned because I don't know if the apathy that sometimes permeates Calguns will cancel it again. I've done a pre announcement to gauge interest and pfffft. Kes's $350 booth fee was forfeited last year and I won't do it again to him.

As was said by one here, since X has done so much for this event over the years, we can do a little payback by obliging his request of Nov. 1-4.

.
To echo the words put out by Retired .

The Murrieta Rod Run is a Great Event ...
The old main street in town is shut down and filled with Classic Cars

And we get to have a Cal-Gun booth right in the middle of it all , in front of The Shootist / Gun store ( Great People )

At the booth we will have two gun racks , So you can display your favorite Rifle ( Bolt Removed )

Car show and Guns ....Just seems to go together.........

Yep, I put Nov 1-4 on my calendar, just in case that winds up being the dates. It's the only way I could finally make one!

Did the Pilgrims have muskets?

I think zombies will be a mixed bag of Pilgrims and Indians.
Need to have zombies with arrows in them as well as being shot to pieces.
