I just got back. As of the time I left, no one got shot, and there were no fights.
I think Dave counted 50 people. I counted 24 cars, but more came later. It was a full house, but there was room for more.
Who had the bolt that wouldn't open? I posted on Savage Shooters about that, so with more info, we may get a good answer.
This is what it looked like out there.

My 16 year old niece and 13 year old nephew had a great time. Thank you to the Calgunners that let them shoot their Ruger sr22 and 10/22 Takedown my niece already wants to know when she could buy her own.

Great shoot, everyone. So glad I could make it to this one. Hats off to David (and Mac and Jacob and the rest of the Calguns faithful) for pulling it off.

Ahi was, indeed, the bomb.

Stay safe and see y'all soon!

Had a great time today. Met up with some Calgunner's that I haven't seen in a while and got to meet some new ones. Food was great. Loved the chicken bacon pesto sandwiches.

Harley - Thanks for letting me shoot the AR 308 and I'm glad your little cousin loved shooting the Henry lever action.

HappyCamper - Thanks for letting shoot the 50 Beouwolf.

Hope you guys enjoyed the Ahi I brought. I'm pretty sure it was a hit as there was none left.

Here's some pics.

Thanks to all those that set this up and kept it running so smoothly. This was my first one. It was a fun and safe environment where a lot of good info was shared. Thanks to Harley for helping this noob out and letting me get behind some of his serious firepower. Nobody should hesitate to come out if they are in the least bit interested or curious.

I wish I would have walked the line and met more people. I'll do that next time for sure.

Thanks to the guy (sorry forgot your name) who gave the "history lesson" and more during the lunch break. Pretty informative and we should remember that that is a huge reason of why we need to keep our 2a rights intact.

I thought I had brought way too many chicken/bacon/pesto sandwhiches. Man was I wrong........Really enjoyed seeing people gobble 'em up.

Hopefully I can make the next one too. Gotta run, time to sit on gunbot and re-stock up

The Beowulf will be at any future events I attend, so if you feel brave enough just come on up and try a few rounds!

The Tuna was DA BOMB, yo. Damn shame I had to wait 7 months to get it again.....

Did Pigpen get his 30 round kit back?

These were damn good! my only question is, "when did chorizo go preppy" and get partnered with gouda? :-)

Thanks for organizing the event! It was pretty fun, although is was a bit awkward, since it was my first time shooting. I wish I could have made it there earlier, by the time I got there it was about 2pm and most of the food was gone by the time I got there.

It also was the first time I shot my brand new Ruger 10/22 and it shot 100rds without any malfunctions. Yay!

Also, a big thank you to the guy who let me borrow the stapler and gave me a few targets!

No one has come forward with any info. Like I said I can get them for about $10.00 but it's a felony for those with a BB and I would hate to replace magazines every time I go shooting.

Default That's Effed

I'd start marking all your mags like I mark mine: (Initials / Intended Caliber)

That being said, if you don't get it back by next shoot I'll throw one of my marked "Beowulf" mags your way, 'just because.

Thanks but it's not necessary, you shouldn't be out a magazine I can replace it cheaply enough.

It's Tuesday and I'm still smiling from Sunday. Thank you all, especially to Bucklenose for setting this up and being a patient, watchful RO. Next month I'll definitely come earlier. I loved the food. Carne Asada, wontons, brats & ahi on the grill at the same time? Talk about hog heaven. Thanks for what everyone brought.

Ricky Ray, people pay money in nice restaurants for Ahi that isn't that good. I'll bring the 45-70 again so you can shoot it.

Pigpen, shooting your Super Redhawk in 454 Cassull was awesome. I'll keep an eye open for 50AE ammo.

Beetle Bailey, your revolver in 44 Special was sweetness and light. Hope the chrono data helps.

As_rocketman, I liked the history lesson. It was a pleasure shooting next to you. BAR people need to stick together.

So many people yet so much good attitude and a willingness to share. Thanks for putting up with a newcomer. See you in July.

I'm tentatively down for July.

And @Pigpen, I have enough mags, one less isn't a big deal. It'd bean excuse to trade you for the 10 for a teardown and analysis of what it takes to block a mag. But your call, hombre.

With the uncool exception here noted, it was a good shoot. Here's to hoping the forgetful idiot finally decides to man up and turn it in.
