Default CRPA and NRA Supporting Sniff?

Maybe I am out of the loop, but why? I have been following Bianco and heard him speak. It seems to me Sniff does the least amount he can to say he is a CCW supporter, but has 2 or 3 processing all CCW's which takes 2 years. Bianco on his own website and in person says this is wrong. Sniff's website does not even mention 2A. What do I not know or am I missing? Sure gives me concerns on their other suggestions....

From Chads website:

SECOND AMENDMENT

I am a firm believer in our Constitution, particularly the Bill of Rights. I believe the only thing that can protect the First Amendment is the Second. I also believe it has two distinct parts: the right to keep, and the right to bear. Although California is a “may” issue state, my position aligns more with “shall.” I believe that every person who desires a concealed weapons permit, otherwise not prevented by law or psychological concern, should be granted a permit.

Currently it takes approximately two years to obtain a concealed carry permit under the direction of our current Sheriff. I believe that is a tool to dissuade people from even applying. I believe that a right delayed is a right denied. I will strive to provide the county with the services they demand.

There are a couple of threads in the "CRPA FORUM" discussing this very issue.

Sniff has a history of writing letters to the Ca legislature in support of 2A.

[which IMHO he knows will be instantly disregarded by the Overlords in Excremento]

He has spent yrs lying to NRA/CRPA and posing as a 2A supporter. What he has not done' is to lawfully exercise the discretion granted him by the Ca PC to issue CCWs, to qualified RivCo residents in a timely manor.

Only in the last month has he actually assigned more deputies to CCW issuance and accelerated issuance.

Why? Because his lies are coming to roost, and his feet are held to the fire by years of unabashed deflection. He is losing the re-election battle according to the June primary numbers.

Political smear campaign slanders against Bianco seem to be all he has left. When the truth won't work for a politician, they lie. When that quits working, they tell bigger lies in an effort to cloud issues.

Even sending subordinate lackeys to Palm Springs to slander Bianco. In a pre orchestrated public attack. Which sadly for Sniff, didn't pass the "smell test".

In 40 yrs of following low blow politics in this once great state. This crap slinger is the lowest and crappiest I've ever seen.

From the "Desert Sun" newspaper website as of 1:30 AM, Wed. Nov 7th.

Quote:
With about one-third of Riverside County precincts reporting, with 55 percent of the vote, Lt. Chad Bianco is holding about a 10 percentage point lead over eleven-year incumbent Sheriff Stan Sniff, who has 45 percent, in the intra-agency struggle for control of the county’s expansive law enforcement agency.

Congrats to Sheriff Bianco.

It's now official.
