Default Carcano Calvary Carbine

My uncle brought this back from Europe after WWII. All he had was the barrel, bayonet, bolt and receiver group. The rest I found and finished. The bore is very clean and the lands are sharp. This a 6.5x52 and made by Beretta.

The bayonet cannot be abolished for the reason, if for no other, that it is the sole and exclusive embodiment of that willpower which, alone, both in war and everyday life, attains its object.—General M. I. Dragomirov
