Work with what you’ve got. Practice mag changes (unloaded gun, but dummy rounds in the mags) so that you can do it in a pitch black room. Find a paddle mag carrier you can attach to pajamas or sweat pants.

If you can’t have more than 10 rounds, you should just use bigger bullets; if 10 rounds of .458 SOCOM don’t solve your problems... you should rethink your life choices

Some of us got the ( Larger capacity ) ITEMS years ago ! And then put them away in discreet places outa sight outa mind etc. Every time some folks go on a cross country hunting trip a visit is made to some sporting goods etc establishments while on the way home. Etc Etc. and a few ITEMS are sort of discreetly set aside for events, issues, craziness happening and so forth. But now is not the season for such trips, maybe perhaps that can accomplished later this year. Looking forward to loong range goals. Ever got a package of sprinkler heads and pvc pipe fittings thru FedEx before ?

You realize we were not limited to 10 round magazines in California right now right?

We just can’t buy them right now.

Many of us have had them since the 80s and 90s but obviously freedom week was an option as well.

Not bagging on you. Perhaps you were out of state or something but again it’s a legitimate question.

Politicians really ****ed us here . First limiting ccw then, open carry bans the a onslaught of b.s. firearm regulations, mag limits , then let criminals run rampant with law changes making a lot of crime a slap on the wrist, now they wont allow P.D. to protect us from roving hoards of rioters and looters . And if we protect ourselves we are facing serious legal issues even if its our life or property on the line. I do not blame people for ditching mag locks, bullet buttons, going full features loading anything and every capacity mag they have. WE AS LAW ABIDING TAX PAYING CITIZENS HAVE TRULY BEEN ABANDONED AND SET UP TO BE EASY TARGETS IN EVERY WAY POSSIBLE.

Do what you gotta do. The mag this is a personal problem that you didnt solve because you follow unconstitutional laws. IF you feel the need to carry then do it. Dont let some panty waist milquetoast politician tell you how to live your life

With this much firepower already on tap, just load up your 10 rds magazines and be happy you've got backups in case of malfunction with the shotgun.

If you have 3 inch magnum type 00 buckshots, a single shotshell contains 15 projectiles. That is a lot of projectiles you can throw out for self-defense. Look for these in the hunting section of sporting supply stores if you don't have them, they sound like a canon when it goes off.

But I do agree, 10 rds limit in a magazine is a little disappointing. That's why I moved to WA.

Shotguns don't spray a cone of death like the movies.

At social distances, expect a 00 spread to be anywhere from 6"-18". Perhaps wider spreads with crappy ammo, but you lose accuracy, and even in riots, you still need to account for where each pellet goes.

May be better off with an M1 Garand with 8rd clips in several bandoleers.

Doesnt take Kreskin. I bought mags for stuff in the 1980s that I've only bought the guns to go with in the past 3-4 years. Glock mags 19. M1a, FAL, etc.

Perfectly legal and no mind reading was needed

#metoo.

I had std cap mags for stuff I've never owned before freedom week and bought even more for anything I might possibly own some day during freedom week.

Heck I barely even own any 10 round mags for anything.

If you haven't figured out how to have std cap mags by now- even in this hellhole state-you are doing it wrong.

Especially with freedom week having happened.
