Default How to ship inherited guns to California?

I posted this in the handgun forum but was advised that I may get more advise here. Sorry for the double post. I have received several replies at http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/s...d.php?t=818906, but I appreciate any advise, clarifications you can offer.

Can someone advise me on how I should ship about a dozen guns to my brother, who has inherited them from my recently passed father. I am executor of my father's estate. I've read so much, some contradictory and confusing, that I'm swirling.

I'm in Kentucky. My brother is in L.A. I need for him to receive several revolvers, a couple black powder rifles, a few pistols, a shotgun and a couple hunting rifles. Nothing that would require a bullet button.

What's the best (legal, cheapest, less headache) way to ensure he receives his inheritance.

I most appreciate any help y'all can provide.
