If you guys are worried about the finish, you can always buy replacement parts for the 553. If I recall the hood is around $40 in tan (personally i think as is gives it character)

If these were about 100 bucks cheaper I would buy one.

As it stands, the Aimpoints are a much better bargain, for me.

Yes they did, but usually items get picked up a day or so after the shipping label is printed.

The CompM2 is discontinued, so it's hard to say. My guess is to compare it to the Aimpoint PRO which can be had for ~$380ish. So the trade off is a older and used optic vs spending the money for a new optic. But, considering lesser quality reddots go for $100-200 new, spending $165 for a used CompM2 is an easy tradeoff.

And they are gone.

They lasted a little longer this time, but I think that is because they put for up for sale. the last 2 times they only put 25 or so up.

I was expecting the wilcox mounts but the killflash is a nice bonus. Just need to clean them up and remount one. They turn on fine so some range time tomorrow will tell me if they hold zero and the adjustments work.

Got 3 aimpoints and 1 Eotech today. Aimpoints have been through hell and back but work and Eotech looks new.

Mounted one of the aimpoints on a 74 I have.

for anyone holding out for a restock on aimpoints:

L E Firearms, Inc
We have had lots of people ask about more Aimpoints. Currently they are sold out and we do not see any more coming in soon. We do have more EOTechs due in Tuesday October 8th.

off their facebook this morning.
