Default Truglo Tritium Fiber Optic (TFO) Sights

Im am going to purchase Truglo Tritium Fiber Optic sights for my Glock 22. Not sure if I should get all green dots or the two yellow rear dots and front green.

What do you think?

Green for the front, red for the rear, you'll be surprise how the green will stand out

I thought about that too for my Glock 22. I went with yellow rear and green front. Have you looked into the 24/7 big dot?

I had the green/green before, I now have the yellow/green on my RTF2 17 and like it better.

I installed a set of the yellow/green sights on a HK USP this past weekend and in the dark, the yellow is not very bright especially when being compared to a green front. Based on that experience alone, I would go with all green if you're looking at the TFOs.

Nope, sometimes the brightness blurs your sight picture.

TruGlo customer service is great too. Bought a slide/barrel secondhand tha had the TFOs in it and front sight was dead. Called them on a Friday morning, sent out same day, and had them back by next Friday. Their CS dept was great to deal with, great communication and service. Add that to the great product and it's a win-win experience. Probably going to try the Yellow/Green, but people do say that the Yellow is very dim compared to the green, but it may not be a negative considering you focus on the front sight; put bright green dot in between yellow background.

I am sure during the day the FO tube make them very visible mod the contrast of green yellow will be similar to the green red. I noticed them were dim only in darkness. And I am not saying that this is a benefit or a not, just an observation.

It's supposed to be that way. You're supposed to be focusing on the front sight, that's why it's the brighter color.

You don't want them all the same color or you can confuse them when it counts most. That's why all the night sight companies are now coming out with different colors for front and rear.

My problem with the TFO's is the choice of yellow. Orange/red would have been better than yellow.

I had the green front/yellow rear combo until the front sight came off under recoil. But it was a great sight picture while it lasted.

I do like the tritium but wish you could get the red front and green rears. I really like the differing colors.

mine are green/green on two guns. I regret not buying a yellow set and mixing them up. I think the yellow/green would be better.

I have the yellow/green on several pistols and like it compared to same color or red front sights.

I don't have truglo's.... yet, but I have other night sights and I really like the green front yellow rear combo. The green tritium is always going to be brighter that the other colors which is why you want that in front.
