Default Best people to send a clock off to for customization

Who will receive and return ship a Glock from CA for stippling, porting, triggers, barrels, RMR, and other upgrades? Preferably someone who will do the full job, like Taran Tactical, etc.

Defkon3 does the best Polymer work by far without a doubt.
Boogeyman does great slide work.

If you want to get ripped off, by all means send your gun to agency/ zev/ taran.

Get the slide and the stippling done seperatley, pick and choose your add ons, then piece your gun together.

My personal preference of course...

Clock/Glock same thingy...

Stick a fully automatic high capacity clip thingy in it and shoot....

OP...you could Wilsonize it...they do have a few upgrades...expensive I am sure.

What’s wrong with using Taran? Good enough for Keanu.

I like Polymer Refined for stippling work.

Don't have preference one way or the other on slide work, I sent my slide out to Mars guns for front cocking serrations.

Trigger work...just buy a drop in kit. Vanek gets my vote. If I could do it over again I'd return the DK kit and buy another Vanek.

I've used both MLS Customs (top) and Fowler Industries (bottom) for a couple of my Glock 19s. The MLS has frame and slide work with a drop in barrel and trigger, and the FI is a complete build with a handfit Bar-Sto barrel.

Lucky’s Sporting Goods is an FFL near Portland that does good stippling for very reasonable prices.

Highly recommend Weichel Armament for grip work and Loki Tactical for slide cuts.

I would send it off to danger close armament or battlecock tactical. They can handle the everything in/out of house and send it back to you finished. They also do some of the best work I've ever seen.

I suggest thinking about what you are actually asking, and if that doesn't answer your question, call around to some places and ask.

Thumbs up

Consider ATEi OP. I'm very happy with my ATEi modded G17.

Full disclosure: My mods, night sights and RMR Type 2, 3.5 optic were free. I won a Trijicon contest back in 2017.

https://www.millionthacog.com/prizes/

I had to pay shipping to ATEi and taxes on the prize.

All that said, ATEi are very nice people to deal with.

By the way, in the process of lower stippling, is it possible to get the lower to be more like a Gen 5? I'm not super keen on finger grooves.

I like to customize. RMR is quantifiably a better way to shoot. But I like the purist argument for anything.

Like a Glock purist (or fanboi, or whatever) I suggest 1000 rounds down range before you mess with Glock Perfection.

Now if you want a John Wick Glock 34 go with Taran Tactical. Its on my Christmas List.

The Glock Store in San Diego does custom work too.

I see Gen 1 and Gen 2 occasionally for sale. I am not going to pay premium for a Gen 5 in CA.

Are the Gen 1 and 2 compatible with the aftermarket stuff for Gen 3? I don't see anything listed that explicitly says Gen 1 or 2 compatible.
